Beach

Our beach house plans are designed with Cape Cod, Low Country and Florida Cracker styling.
The look of a beach house is comfortable. The exterior is usually lap siding, cedar shingles or board and batten. Windows and doors have trim work that resembles farm styling, but with more ornamentation. Hardwood floors and double hung windows create an interior that is historic and relaxing.
Most beach houses are built on wood pilings, which allow storm waters to pass beneath the house. Some of our beach houses have fireplaces or hot tubs for cool coastal evenings.
With a setting at the beachfront, the main focus of a beach house is viewing the water, and connection to the beach. Porches are important and allow a shaded outdoor space to continue enjoying the view, even on hot days. The kitchen and living spaces are connected to the porch for a large entertaining space.

Farm

Our farmhouse plans are classic American country homes. Farm houses are comfortable, and use the simplicity of rural life to create a pleasant elegance.
The outside is usually finished with lap siding or board and batten, with simple trim around the windows and doors. A metal roof is the perfect compliment to the all-wood exterior. Porches with rocking chairs and handrails.
Inside the farm house is wood flooring, tall baseboards, plaster finished walls, and trim work for hanging pictures. Double hung windows with unique divided panes, and paneled interior doors create a historic look. Modernized kitchens combine glass-front cabinets with modern appliances.

Craftsman

Our Craftsman House Plans feature beautifully crafted detailing. The outside of a Craftsman home has large roof overhangs and exposed roof rafters. The walls are covered with lap siding or stucco. The porches have tapered columns and heavily decorated railings.
Prairie and Arts & Crafts styling are evident on the inside in strong stained woodwork, hardwood floors, and ornate metalworking for door and window hardware. Wood-burning fireplaces create the focus point in the living room.

Traditional

Our traditional house plans are beautiful, and are available in many different historic styles. Greek Revival, Colonial, Spanish Mediterranean and more.

Modern

Modern house plans have unique shapes and eye-catching finishes. The roof is often metal, or is flat with a parapet wall. Large windows and doors with a storefront look connect the inside to the outdoors.

Interiors are fun and functional. Rooms connect in unique ways and have very little trim work. Doorways are replaced with walls carefully placed to provide privacy between spaces. Stairs are open with glass or cable railings. In some designs, the stone or wood from the outside seems to flow through a window opening and continue on the interior wall, giving a connection from indoors to the world outside.

In a modern bath you’ll find tiled walls, wall-mounted cabinets, hidden drains, glass showers, and high windows to let in natural lighting.

Modern kitchens delight the true chef. Stainless steel, granite and concrete surfaces, commercial-type appliances, large multi-purpose sinks. Dramatic open entertaining spaces make the kitchen more like a beautiful restaurant in your home.

Castle

Our castle house plans have strong features. The outside is finished with field stone and stone detailing around doors, windows and archways. The roof has a unique look with parapet walls or battlements. Ceilings are high and windows are generally small. Groups of french doors lead to porches and outside spaces.
On the first floor, large wood-burning fireplaces and beams on the ceilings are combined with dark paneling and ornate lighting fixtures. Interior walls are finished to look like troweled plaster.
