Jilyn is a classic Scottish Highland castle designed to fit on a very narrow lot.
This plan is designed with a concrete slab on grade. The exterior walls are 2×6 wood framing with r19 spray foam insulation. First and second floor systems are pre-engineered wood trusses. The roof slate, a plywood deck, and 12:12 pitch pre-engineered wood trusses. The exterior is finished with local field stone, slate roofing, Gothic stone arches, and wrought iron detailing.
