Colonial House Plans
Our Colonial House Plans are designed based the detailing of houses from the Georgian period (1700-1780), the Federal period (1780-1820), the Early Classical Revival period (1770-1830), and the Colonial Revival period (1880-1955). These homes are distinct because of their simple structural shapes and rooflines, which are contrasted with their elaborate moldings, doors, windows and cornice assemblies. The traditional or “Early-American” feel of these homes express our connection to the founding of the United States of America. Our founding fathers spoke strongly of their belief in God and dependence on Him, and the styling of these homes visually reminds us of the beginning of our nation, God’s Providence, and the strength of relying on Him.
