All plans, designs and documents published and sold by Tyree House Plans (THP) are protected under the Federal Copyright Act, Title 17 of the United States Code, and Chapter 37 of the Code of Federal Regulations, are the intellectual property of THP, and may not be reproduced, copied or altered in any manner without permission in writing from THP.

Returns

Because our house plan products are digital, no refunds can be given.

Printed Sets

Our products are completely digital. We do not provide physical printed sets of the plans. Printed sets can be acquired independently by the customer, with our written permission. Here are a few of our recommendations.

Engineering & Permitting

Structural engineering is not included in the plans. The client may obtain structural engineering locally by a licensed structural engineer or architect if needed for permitting. The provided plans are not guaranteed to meet local building permit requirements.

Additional Approvals

Any additional documents needed for interaction with a HOA or Historic Review Board are not included in this purchase. These items can be provided separately. Please contact us for a quote.

Liability

THP’s liability will be limited to the amount paid to THP by the customer. THP will not be held liable for damages from any work performed or neglected by the general contractor, or any other consultant, supplier or site worker. If the drawings are revised by anyone other than THP, then THP will be released from all liability. Customer agrees that any legal action in regards to services and products provided by THP will be resolved in Knox County, TN.

Placement of residence is based on owner’s desired location and governing authority regulations. Every property has inherent risks due to location and acts of God which may cause damage to structures built on said property and bodily injury or death to the occupants of said structures. THP does not in any way guarantee the suitability of any area for construction or habitation, and will not be held liable for damages based on the location of said structure.

General Contractor to verify all field conditions, code requirements, insure compliance of proposed structure with said conditions, verify all dimensions and techniques in construction documents, and notify THP of any discrepancies before construction.
